We are currently planning to host a Wifsa international competion for inline figure skating. We are expecting guests from the nearby Netherlands and Belgium, and hope for attendants from Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Ireland and possibly from other countries too.
On the extended week end, starting Friday, February 13 through February 15 2026, we will be hosting in the gymnasiums of Horkesgath. The exact address is: Horkesgath 33, 47803 Krefeld, Germany.

What else can I do in the area
Krefeld is located between Düsseldorf and the Netherlands.
There is an ice skating rink in walking distance. Bring you own skates or rent them locally.
Krefeld is on the far west end of the former steel and coal area, with Düsseldorf having established as a hip city to live in. Köln/Cologne is in driving distance. Netherland is less than 1 hour drive away.
The “North-Rhine Westfalia” area offers plenty of opportunities for nature dwellers, party goers and kid friendly parks, sports activities and entertainment areas.
The area is also a hotspot for Carnival, which is celebrated the high noon of the local Carneval city events. (Thursday through Tuesday while we are having the “Krefeld Open”).
